Isollat-05 Fire Protection Paint

ISOLLAT-05 – It is a fire protection paint developed for steel constructions, cables and other equipment. Fire protection resistance is minimum 60-90 and 120 minutes depending on the need.

It is a suspension of flame retardant fillers in polymer water emulsion composition that swells with high temperature. The fire retardant properties of Isollat-05 paint are determined by both accredited certification bodies and test centers in accordance with the conformity certificates and test reports issued in accordance with the law.

It is recommended to be applied on fire resistant paint materials such as urethane-alkyd or vinyl chloride enamel to provide both decorative properties and increase resistance to weather conditions.

Consumption and Suggestions

COLOR : White. It can be colored with pigment. Or water-based or synthetic-based paint can be applied on it.

DRYING TIME: Drying time of a single layer up to 3rd Degree, according to Ambient Temperature

Less than 4 hours at +5°C Ambient Temperature

Less than 2 hours at +20 °C Ambient Temperature

PACKAGING: In 10Kg / 19 Kg PP buckets.
SHELF LIFE : 24 months from date of production if stored in original, unopened and undamaged packaging.
STORAGE CONDITIONS : Store in a dry and cool environment under air conditions above 0ºC.
CONSUMPTION: The protection period (60,90,120 minutes) requested in the technical specifications of the equipment or project to be protected against fire and the application thickness and consumption are determined according to the thickness of the metal material to be applied. The application thickness and consumption table prepared according to fire protection tests by accredited laboratories are detailed below.

WARNING: isollat-05 fire protection paint can be used indoors without a protective paint layer. Outdoors, it is used together with pentaphthalic, urethane-alkyd and chlorovinyl-based topcoat paints in the technical data sheet to ensure long-term durability against external atmospheric conditions.
